I have been looking for something more form fitting that wasn't a Speedo©.. cuz I dont roll like that.. haha.. but these are just sexy enough without being too over the top (depending on your definition I suppose). They are like shorts.. made of a swimsuit material, a bit more of an athletic cut... very comfortable. Holds.. everything.. in place.. and they look great. I will say that I was expecting a different kind of material, but it is swim wear after-all. Since I have been busting my ass to get in an even better shape before the next big birthday, looking good in these have been a nice reward. The lady in my life thought they would be a bit too revealing, but that is now her favorite feature :)Not a bad price either.

I've not yet worn these in water, so I cannnot comment on their durability, but these trunks are of very high quality. I wear a size 28 and bought a small. They fit perfectly. I think American guys might find these "tight" only because they are so used to wearing overly baggy trousers in water. These fit like boxer briefs and are still a far cry from a thong or Speedo, just as in the photo...
The material is like that of a lycra full-body swimsuit, perfect for the water.
If you are a timid guy, darker-coloured trunks are the way to go, as these still leave much to the imagination ; )
These do naturally hang a little low in the bum area, but you can just lift them in the rear when putting them on; because of the stretchy material, they do not seem to slide back down on their own. Furthermore, there is a pullstring which can aid in adjusting (although you can't really see it in the given pics). These fit me perfectly, though, so the string hangs more for aesthetic effect.
All in all, these look really good on AND look as though they will last.
**********UPDATE November 2011: These trunks are beautiful and are still holding up extremely well. I've been in jacuzzis, swimming pools and in saltwater. I am already looking at other goods from Gary Majdell because he really designs sexy but conservatively fashionable high quality menswear. Right up my alley ; )

I did not like this suit for two reasons. First; the construction was poor, the hem of the legs & waist will not lie flat. Secondly; the material is very thin & the front is unlined. Everyone near you will know how cold the water is & if you've been circumcised. I have two other Gary Majdell suits that I like but this is definitely a step down in quality. I sent it back - Thanks Amazon!

Was very happy with this swimsuit, didn't have any preconceptions so didn't know what to expect. I've found that besides being comfortable, relatively sparse so one doesn't feel confined, restricted, compressed, it also has a great cut, ideal for tanning and for creating a great tan line. Square cut is a nice surprise, just covers the glutes in back and emphasizes, flatters one's musculature and natural gifts.
I'd buy this suit or another like it again.

Be careful if you buy these! I liked the photo on Amazon, but the real product has no real "pouch" space. Therefore it makes one way too obvious in the pants. I sent it back the next day.
