All the clip-on suspenders I ever owned have eventually failed due to poor mechanical stability. In other words, the metal was weak. That same characteristic is true for these. I wore them three times and the back clip bent such that it would not hold the material. I had to straighten it with pliers. I don't recommend these for every day wear.
